Holidays are often among the most emotionally challenging times for those grieving the death of a loved one. Family traditions and holiday rituals that are usually anticipated with excitement evoke memories of holidays past and with those the realization that someone loved and now gone will not be with the family this year, which may increase anxiety and intensify feelings of grief.
The Annual Willow House Holiday Gathering provides an opportunity for families to come together from all of the Willow House group sites to support one another, share memories and to honor their loved ones during the holiday season. The evening includes unique activities for the children, a very special dinner and a candlelight remembrance ceremony.
