Mickayla

Mickayla Bedenian joined Willow House as an intern in May of 2020 and was brought onto the team as the Program Associate in January of 2021. She will be working with the clinical team in hopes to provide continued support and connection for our families. Mickayla felt connected to the Willow House mission and bereavement after her own experience of loss and seeing the opportunity to normalize grief and support children and families at such a difficult time.

Prior to her MSW studies, Mickayla received a BA in Psychology: Counseling Psychology with a minor in sociology in 2018 from Trinity International University. She continued her education at Aurora University and received her Masters of Social Work (MSW) in December of 2020. Mickayla received her LSW (License of Social Work) in September of 2021.
