Clinical Site Coordinator: Expressive Arts

Andi Janson started leading Expressive Art Therapy Groups with Willow House in the Fall of 2024. Andi is thrilled and honored to be joining the Willow House team in serving their mission of supporting grieving families.

Andi is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist. She graduated with her Masters of Art in Art Therapy from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2017 and her Bachelor of Arts from The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a studio art major and art education minor in 2013. Before joining the Willow House Team, Andi worked as an Art Therapist at an alternative school, supporting students and their families. Andi continues to work as an LPC and Art Therapist in the private setting as well. Previously, Andi has interned and volunteered with a hospice agency to provide support and care to grieving families while experiencing her own grief and loss journey. Andi deeply believes in the power of creativity to process and hold the complicated feelings of grief. She is deeply honored to utilize art making and creative practices in meeting people with where they are at.

In her free time, Andi enjoys traveling and cooking with her husband, pickleball, and watching movies with her two fluffy black cats.
