Jo understands the profound impact of loss and the healing power of community. After losing her brother to suicide and her mother to cancer in her twenties, she developed a deep passion for helping others navigate grief and create meaningful connections so no one has to grieve alone. Jo’s journey with Willow House began in 2016 as a facilitator for the Survivors of Suicide support group in Bannockburn. In 2023, she joined the Board, where she plays a key role in strategic planning and fundraising, and chairs the Marketing Committee to expand Willow House’s reach and impact.
