Elizabeth is in her second year of pursuing her clinical Master of Social Work degree at University of Chicago part-time while also working as the Director of Lifespan Religious Education at First Unitarian Church of Chicago, where she crafts meaningful opportunities for connection, service, learning, and personal growth for all ages. In her first year MSW internship, Elizabeth served adults with serious mental illness at Thresholds.
Prior to starting her current degree program, Elizabeth’s background was in educational and community-based organizations. In serving schools and communities around Chicago for over ten years, she experienced the way that a loss can impact an entire community and the need for additional support for grieving children and families. She is grateful for the opportunity to learn about providing that support with Willow House.
