Esther Morales
Board Member
Esther Morales, RN, MBA was approved as a Board member for Willow House in 2021. Esther has lived
in the Chicago area with her family for more than five decades. She is passionate about helping local
organizations that give children and adults the strategies and community to more successfully deal with
loss.
Being a Board member for a non-profit organization in the Chicago area was one of Esther’s post full-
time employment goals and happened in a most unusual way. Esther submitted her resume to the
University of Chicago Alumni Association, which had a matching process between former MBA students
choosing to serve on non-profit Boards and non-profit organizations looking for Board members with
relevant skills. Esther was “matched” with Willow House for her decades long clinical nursing expertise.
