Lisa Roncone, LSW

Program Clinician

Lisa is thrilled to join the Willow House team as Program Clinician. Before joining Willow House, Lisa served as a School Social Worker for over ten years in Northwest Chicago and Evanston where she facilitated grief groups, supported grieving families, and educated staff on best practices to support grieving students in school. Lisa graduated with her Master’s of Arts in Social Work from University of Chicago in 2012 and her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University with a Psychology major and a Sociology minor in 2009.

Lisa has a strong connection to grief work as she experienced the loss of a sibling when she was young. Lisa participated in a grief group when she was in high school which was a transformative experience for her and her healing. Lisa deeply understands the value of grief group support and is committed to supporting young people and families who have experienced the death of a parent, caregiver, or sibling.

Lisa lives in Deerfield with her husband and two children. She loves being with her family, spending time outdoors, and eating delicious food!
