This 6 part series will include practical education to parents, caregivers, and families on how to best support themselves while supporting their families in grief. Each week a new topic will be explored.

The first episode of Living with Grief in Uncertain Times: Help and Support for Families, provides an understand grief and loss and how grief impacts families.
This episode will explore Navigating Grief During COVID-19: How to Help Yourself. As a parent/caregiver who is supporting grieving young people, it is important to know that you need to take care of yourself as well in your grief. Andy and Pamela explore why this is beneficial and tools to help you cope.
In the third installment of Living with Grief in Uncertain Times: Help and Support for Families, Pamela and Andy explore ways to help your children while they are grieving the death of a loved one. Learn about how to model ways of healthy grieving to your children and how to provide the best support possible. Pamela and Andy will also provide information on how children grieve.
In this episode, Andy and Pamela will discuss coping with grief as a family unit. There are many stressors that families are experiencing at this time during COVID-19 along with the loss of their loved one. Coping strategies for families are explored during this episode.
This Episode we focus on Grief, Change, and Growth. When a loved one has died, our view on the world changes. Pamela and Andy explore this change while also discussing the ways families grow and evolve through grief.
