Meet Our Clinical Staff
Mackenzie Liberta, MA, CCLS, GC-C
Clinical School and Program Coordinator
Mackenzie has her Master’s Degree in Child Life and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is a Certified Child Life Specialist and Grief Counselor, completing her clinical education at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital and Children’s Minnesota-Saint Paul. Prior to joining Willow House, Mackenzie worked at Rush Univerity Medical Center as a Child Life Specialist, supporting children and families throughout hospitalization, including medical procedures, new diagnoses, and death/bereavement.
Mackenzie was drawn to Willow House after seeing the need for supportive services to continue beyond the hospital setting for families experiencing grief and bereavement. She looks forward to implementing grief programs and trainings within the school setting.
In her free time, Mackenzie enjoys trying new restaurants and traveling.
