Molly is currently a second year masters student in the Jane Addams School of Social Work at University of Illinois Chicago. In 2014 they graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Cinema Studies through the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. They have returned to academia to become an LCSW.
Molly has 10 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations for children and adults with physical, developmental, and emotional disabilities. Their work as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and Volunteer Coordinator for the SeriousFun Childrens Network, camps for kids living with chronic life-threatening illnesses, has allowed Molly to bring a day of camp to in-patient HemOnc, Dialysis, and NICU playrooms in addition to the camp settings throughout the state of California and rural Ireland. Molly has facilitated music, art, and theatre activities with bereaved parents and siblings encouraging them to spend quality time together and feel the support within their community. Molly is excited to connect with the Willow House families and work together to provide a safe oasis of healing.
